Special Purpose Machines
Custom multi-station, indexing and inline machines designed to your process and cycle time.
Special purpose machines (SPMs) are engineered ground-up around a single process family — bushing press-fit, valve leak test, gear synchronizing and more. We size the machine to your target cycle time, station-balance every operation, and select PLC, servo, sensing and pneumatics to keep uptime and repeatability high across three-shift production.
What we build
- Rotary indexing tables (4–12 stations) with cam or servo indexers
- Linear inline transfer machines with servo pallet transfer
- Dedicated single-station process cells (press-fit, calibration, marking)
- Fixturing, tooling and Poka-Yoke error-proofing built into every station
- PLC + HMI (Beckhoff, Siemens, Mitsubishi) with recipe management
- Safety perimeter with light curtains, interlocks and category-appropriate control architecture
Key features
- Cycle-time engineered from your takt-time target
- Poka-Yoke at every operator interaction
- OK/NG segregation and data logging
- Recipe management for product variants

FAQs
How is cycle time guaranteed?
We model each station's motion profile against your takt target and design bottleneck stations with 15–20% headroom.
Can we run product variants on one machine?
Yes — recipe management plus quick-change fixturing handles multiple variants without re-teaching the machine.
What PLC platforms do you support?
Beckhoff, Siemens (S7-1200/1500), Mitsubishi (Q/FX). We match your plant standard.
